How does one charge the chamber? I don’t see any charging handle or any lever etc.
So how do you put one in the chamber
This unit does come with BCG doesn’t it?
Thank You

Your description says the Feather model of the TM22 has an Aluminum Receiver, but that is NOT true. The receiver is polymer, as is the front sight, the Picatinny Rail, the carrying handle and rear sight, and most all of the stock. You should correct your advertising. But even with all the use of polymer, it seems solid and has received very good reviews as to accuracy and reliability. Mine just arrived today, so it will be going to the range very soon.

I believe what the manufacturer is referring to is the lower receiver and BCG which are made out of aluminum. So far as I understand it polymers cannot withstand the heat and force generated by ignition of gunpowder. If I am wrong about this we need to know as this would be a ground-breaking firearm. Thanks so much for purchasing.

22LR ammo is .220 not .224 so conversion kits for ARs result in sloppy accuracy I.E. poor rifles. The TM22 has the M16 look, the handle is detachable, and the rail gives you many options for optics. Oh, it is a real 22LR rifle and ammo is cheap!

The reason for a 4 rating instead of a 5 is because you advertise the “Feather” as having an Aluminum Receiver, and that is not true. It is a polymer material, which for a 22LR will likely be okay, but the description you give is not correct. The rifle seems to be well made, and the model I received had the newer, more standard, thumb safety orientation and the more common 1/2 inch threads on the barrel, so together with the promised warranty, I expect everything will be fine. The proof will be known after some long term usage. PLEASE correct your product description to make the receiver material show as polymer!

Overall it’s a fun plinker. Bought it for my kids and am actually in the process of buying another. Literally the first round jammed. I had to smash the receiver against the table to get it to pop out. After that i had 3 more. I’m going to go out on a limb and say it was the cheaper bulk federal hollow points we were shooting. If everything worked right it ate through a clip. Kids had a blast. It was a little nerve racking for it being brand new, but will try other ammo brands. Also side note. 2 small clips…… not enough. Anyone know of larger ones that will fit?
