Wickenburg Practice Match 8am Wednesday 4-08-2025
Who Can Participate:
Wickenburg Sportsmen’s Club Action Shooters Members & Guests
USPSA Members
Only one entry per competitor per match.
Match Format: Same as USPSA Level 1
Scoring: “Hit Factor” scoring
Practice Match Format “SATURDAY STAGES WILL BE THE SAME AS WEDNSDAY STAGES”
The match will take place in two bays with different start positions for a total of four stages.
Stages: 4 or 5 stages (if a 5th stage it will be a classifier), approximately 120-round minimum
Match Schedule:
Start Time: 8:00 A.M.
Squads 1 & 2 begin at 8:00 A.M.
If only one squad, the match will be shot in one bay. After the first stage is shot the squad by majority vote will declare how the stages 2, 3 & 4 will be shot (moving targets, reshoot, different start positions, etc.). The final stage we will remove “NO Shoots” and tighten up targets for a “hooser” stage.
If Squads 3 & 4 are needed, a second-round start time will be 10:30 A.M.
The second-round start is currently experimental and may be canceled or absorbed into the earlier session if there are not enough shooters.
Refund Policy:
Refunds will be issued for withdrawals made more than 48 hours before the match.
If a waitlisted shooter fills your spot, a refund will also be granted.
Refunds will be issued minus any credit card processing fees incurred.
New Shooter Requirements:
All new shooters without a USPSA or IDPA classification must complete a New Shooter Orientation before participating.
First-Time Shooters at Wickenburg Sportsmen’s Club: A short safety briefing is required.
First-Time Match Shooters:
Must complete a safety and introduction match, including a walk-through of the rules with a mentor.
For their second match, new shooters will be accompanied by a mentor and may participate in live fire if approved by a Range Safety Officer or mentor.
