Welcome to Galactic Pistol Alliance (GPA) match at VPRS NITE OWL!
Half the Rules, Twice the Fun. The GPA uses a streamlined, less restrictive rulebook designed to keep the focus on the shooting experience.
GPA Format:
- Simplified Gear: Use the same equipment you use in other sports (no frame-mounted optics). No concealment garments are required.
- Full Capacity: Magazines can be loaded to their maximum capacity.
- Strategic Reloads: One mandatory reload is required per stage at any point between the first and last shot you decide the best time and place.
- No Penalties for Dropped Mags: You can drop a loaded magazine without receiving a penalty.
- Scoring: We use ½ second scoring on standard IDPA targets.
- Engaging Stages: Expect up to 24 shots per stage, including targets that may require engagement while on the move. There is no tactical priority for targets in the open.
- Easy to Learn: The entire rulebook is only 13 pages long—clear, concise, and easy to follow.
Membership & Classification
Joining is easy—membership is free for the first year. You will receive your initial classification immediately after your first match, and rankings are updated based on your ongoing performance.
