TRC Gas Gun Match June 20 2026

Attn: All SIG P320 pistols are prohibited from use at TRC.
This is a DMR style gas gun match (no bolt action guns) consisting of 5 stages that will have competitors engaging rifle steel targets from 50 to 600 yards, and pistol steel from 15 to 50 yards from various positions. Three stages will be rifle only, and two stages will have a rifle/pistol mix. Prizes will be awarded to the top three shooters in each division.

Awards Ceremony: Shortly after match ends
Match Fee: $75.00
* No refunds will be issued after midnight on the Thursday before the match closes.
* Refunds will include bank transaction fees.
Round Count:
Rifle and Pistol: 100 rds per gun
Scoring: Time Plus (90 second Par Time)
* No M855A1, Green Tip, bi-metallic or Armor Piercing Ammunition allowed. Positive magnet test will result in Match DQ. No muzzle velocities greater than 3,100 feet per second.

General Purpose Rifle (GPR):
- Barrel length 16.5 inches max (muzzle device or suppressor not included in length)
- Magnification: 1x min, 10x max
- Caliber: .223/5.56
- No magazine capacity restriction
Special Purpose Rifle (SPR):
- Barrel length 18.5 inches max (muzzle device or suppressor not included in length)
- Magnification: 2x min, 18x max
- Caliber: .223/5.56
- 20 round magazine capacity
Designated Marksman Rifle (DMR):
- Barrel length 20 inch max (muzzle device or suppressor not included in length)
- Magnification: 2x min, 25x max
- Caliber: .223/5.56, 6mm ARC, 6.5 Grendel, 6.5 Creedmore, .308/7.62
- 20 round magazine capacity
Requirements:
- Rifle: Gas Operated (offset red dot sights are permitted, but do not count towards minimum magnification)
- Pistol (Pistols follow USPSA Limited Optics Rules)
- Holster
- External/artificial supports allowed (bags, tripods, etc)
