The Hunter's Edge Tier 2 SADPA league match Saturday 1 August 2026
Trident Sport Shooting Club invites all paid-up and eligible SADPA members to participate in 9 challenging and innovative stages (including the Classifier) on Saturday 1 August 2026. Equipment checks and registration 06h30 to 07h45. Match starts at 08h00.
You’ll need your hunter’s instinct to survive this one.
It is advised that travelling competitors book accommodation in Heidelberg (Gauteng)
SO spots are filled.
Safety Officers and approved Match Officials working on this match will shoot on the 31st of July 2026. Equipment checks and registration at 06h00.
Officials have no match fee (only pay for 2nd entry/platform)
Match Details:
Match Type: Tier 2 - SADPA Handgun Match
Stages: 8 (approved for Tier 2 standards) plus a Classifier and Chrono stage
Minimum Round Count: 160 (additional rounds recommended)
Electronic Match Booklet: To be distributed at a later stage
Match Shirt will be loaded in the last week of April ‘26
Participants will be allowed to enter PCC as a second entry.

Match Entry.
Single: R 250 (per Platform – Handgun/PCC)
Spit-braai after the match will include Whole Lamb on the spit, roasted chicken drumsticks, Spit roasted veg and baby potato with 3 salads and bread rolls (Cutlery and crockery will be provided): R250 Per Person.
Match Shirt: R565 - R620. Shirt order closes on 1 June 2026.

Entry Eligibility
The Hunter's Edge Tier 2 SADPA League Matchis open to all SADPA members in good standing, subject to the match administration rules outlined below:
Eligibility Requirements:
•1.1.2 All shooters wishing to compete in Tier 2 and above matches must have accumulated at least 20 points in the 18 months prior to the match date.
• 1.1.3 Shooters who do not meet the 20-point requirement may contact the Match Director and motivate why they should be allowed to participate. The Match Director’s decision to accept or reject the application is final.
Important Notes:
• If an entrant does not have a valid classification for the division entered, or does not meet the points requirement, they will be notified via email.
• It is the responsibility of the entrant to arrange with their club to complete a classifier before 25 July 2026.
• If you do not meet the eligibility requirements or need to request an exemption, please email the Match Director at: chairman@tssc.org.za
Match Equipment.
All equipment must comply with Match Rule 7 of the SADPA Match Rules, Version 2.6.
Medals
Medals at this match will be awarded in accordance with SADPA Match Rules Section 11, with the following amendments:
Medal Awards (Individual):
• All shooters will be divided into gender categories: Male and Female
• Within each gender category, medals will be awarded to the top 3 competitors per Division and Classification.
• This applies to all age categories.
Category Awards:
• Category awards (e.g. Junior, Senior, Distinguished Senior) will be issued as per Rule 11.6.2.
Most Accurate Awards:
• The “Most Accurate” award will be split into:
• Most Accurate: Optics and Lasers (OL)
• Most Accurate: Iron Sights
• Most Accurate: PCC
