SRPC is excited to announce our first ever Galactic Pistol Alliance (GPA) match! The rules are MUCH simpler than other shooting sports you may be familiar with, and it's getting super popular across the country. "Half the rules, twice the fun!"
This is a great game for new and experienced competitors alike. Come give it a try, we think you will be very surprised with just how fun it is:
24 rounds maximum per stage
Carry as many mags as desired
Mags may be loaded to full capacity
One mandatory reload per stage – you decide when and where
No tactical priority while shooting in the open
Drop a loaded mag with no penalty
Unlimited steel targets
Unlimited non-threats
No cover garment required
½ second scoring
Expect 6 stages, 100-150 rounds. $30 entry, $10 for a second gun/division. If shooting a second gun/division, it must be different than the first.
Sign in starts at 8:30, safety briefing and hammer down at 9:00 (summer hours).
If you search "Stillwater Rifle and Pistol Club", maps will take you to the range. It is directly on the west side of Lake McMurtry. You do not have to sign in at the gate when you come in.
