Shootout at the Serengeti 7-5-2026 VERO BEACH Precision Gas Gun
The Shootout at the Serengeti is heading to the Spartan Development Group facility in Vero Beach. The range offers clean lines of fire, natural terrain, and plenty of room to build fast, technical stages that reward solid fundamentals and smooth transitions. Expect a balanced course of fire with practical barricades, positional work, and targets that challenge without slowing the match.
For 2026, SATS will be running the Precision Gas Gun Series match format, including all three divisions: Recce, DMR, and Open. Divisions follow the established standards for caliber restrictions, barrel lengths, magnification limits, and velocity caps, along with the cold-range policy, safety requirements, and ammunition rules outlined in the series draft. Competitors can expect hit-to-move stages, standard 90-second pars, miss and skip penalties, and clearly posted WSBs at each stage.

Targets will range from 50 to 1,000 yards with typical stage demands of eight to nine hits and distances averaging 400–700 yards. Spartan’s Vero Beach layout supports clean stage flow and good visibility, making it an ideal environment for the Precision Gas Gun format.
