RBGC Precision Rifle Match 6-7-26
For this match you will need a bolt action or semi-automatic rifle capable of shooting accurately out to 600 yards, a chamber flag, known elevation adjustments (DOPE) out to 600 yards, and a bipod.
Muzzle brakes are not permitted. We shoot under a covered firing line, and the concussion from brakes creates an unsafe and unpleasant environment for our Range Officers. Protecting our ROs from unnecessary blast exposure and potential TBIs is a priority for us. Flash hiders and bare muzzles are allowed, but we highly encourage silencer use.
Most competitors shoot a .223, .308, 6.5 Creedmoor, or one of the various 6mm cartridges. No magnums.
Average round count is 80.
A rear bag is highly recommended, but if you do not have one, you will not have a problem borrowing one. If you have a spotting scope, please bring it.
Matches will be held on the Silhouette Range.
