AK platforms will be cleared by the match director. (See email link below) No 5.45 Russian ammunition! Nearly all of it is steel core – 5.56, 300 blackout, 7.62×39 or PCC calibers only. Again, NO STEEL CORE AMMUNITION!!! All SBRs, suppressors and muzzle devices are allowed. All rifles with “pistol braces” will be fired from the shoulder! Pistols will be concealed somewhere on the waist, no ankle holsters. Holsters will have some type or retention, no slick holsters allowed. Iron sights/red dots for pistols are both approved. No “race guns” allowed! This is a PRACTICAL shooting course, not a “John Wick” course. All pistol calibers will be 9mm, .40 or .45 caliber. All rifles WILL have a sling (dual/single point) and THE RIFLE WILL REMAIN SLUNG ON YOUR PERSON THE ENTIRE MATCH! Red dots, iron sights and LPVOs are all acceptable for rifles. Bring at least 150 rifle/100 pistol rounds. Unless you’re missing a lot, you shouldn’t come close to running out. Please bring, at a minimum, 2 rifle mags and 2 pistol mags (pistol mags should hold a minimum of 10 rounds, rifle mags should hold a minimum of 20 rounds/bring 3 speed reloaders if shooting a revolver). Come on out, have fun and share a Saturday morning with a great group of like-minded people!
Please be there at 0730 to register. We start shooting at 0800. Safety/shooter brief, 0750. You have the option of buying a mulligan for an extra $10. All proceeds go to Norwood Elementary. If you need to check the zeros on your weapons, show up even earlier. I’ll have targets available. Or, if you want to just show up early to help me staple up targets and square-away the range, I’d certainly appreciate the help.
