Pistol Clinic – 25 April 2026

April 25 @ 12:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Ideal for those who are new to pistol shooting at OSA, and great for the seasoned shooter looking for a spring “tune up”.
The OSA Pistol Clinic is open to OSA members, OSA affiliate members and guests.
This Clinic is a pre-requisite for newcomers who want to participate in OSA pistol events. We’ll spend the day getting back to basics. We’ll make sure you have a firm understanding of the basic handling drills. You’ll learn or be reminded about how the perfect shot is supposed to feel and have the opportunity to fire many of them. We’ll be teaching towards the “50 Club” and depending on who joins us we are planning to break into 2 relays – those who need to work on basic marksmanship and those who are ready to advance.
Ammunition must be proven safe in your pistol; you’ll need about 300-400 rounds. Working electronic ear defenders and safety glasses are mandatory. Bring your belt and holster.
Also, make sure you bring adequate food and fluid for the day, as well as insect repellent and sunscreen. You’ll need a long-sleeved shirt, slacks, closed-toe shoes, and a ballcap or brimmed hat.
We’ll start the day with lectures on marksmanship, handling, and range commands. If the weather’s nice, we’ll do this outdoors… bring a lawn/range chair!
Check in at the cabin at 0830. You may be required to show your club membership card.
$75.00 for non-members. $25.00 off for OSA members and $25.00 off for OSA affiliate members. If you’re under 18, register as a junior.
If you haven’t been to an OSA event before, email [email protected] for detailed instructions. You must have shooter’s liability insurance to enter our facility; i.e., you must be a member of the CSSA, CCFR, NFA, or similar. You must be fluent in English to participate in any OSA event.
Note that we no longer allow photographs to be taken on MilCun property.
