Skill level Requirements
Students must know the 4 firearm safety rules and be able to adhere to them to a fault...
Students interested in shooting in divisions that require the draw must be able to perform the draw safely...
This course is taught by our Lead Instructor Jim Baker who holds a Master class Certification in Carry Optics division.
Primary Focus
Steel Challenge Competition
This course is for the shooter that is currently in D,C or B class or first timer to competitive shooting that are looking to class up !
Additionally even if you are not interested in competing this is a great course for the shooter to learn to draw and engage multiple targets at speed.
Course Length
6 Hours 10pm- 4pm
Course/Match is limited to 6 students.
We will shoot an actual match with 6 of the official Steel Challenge stages with coaching and instruction.
You will also get your next 6 stage match with us free of charge for your first gun.
Match results will go toward your national classification if you hold a USPSA member #.
This class is open to
Centerfire semi auto pistols and revolvers in calibers .380,9mm,40-45ACP and 38 super
PCC Rifles in 9MM, 40 – 45ACP
Rimfire pistols and rifles (Semi-Auto)

Bring a minimum of 400 rounds of Ammunition for the class portion and the match.
This is a Tier 1 6 stage sanctioned steel Challenge match. Your scores will be uploaded to SCSA for your National classification. This is a one day match consisting of 6 Steel Challenge stages. Round count is 150 with no misses. Bring enough ammo. Note we do have select factory ammo for sale if needed.
This is a lost brass event.
Match payment is done thru our website Middletown Training.
Course start time is 10AM
Will end around 4pm
COLD RANGE... All firearms must be bagged or cased upon entering our facility. Firearms must stay secured unless at designated safe areas or when given the "MAKE READY" command.
WAIVERS... All participants and spectators must sign our waiver unless you have done so and we have you in our file.

Minimum age is 10 years old and all minors must be accompanied by a parent or designated guardian.
SAFE AREAS... are for dryfire, repair of and holstering of firearms only.
NO AMMO handling at safe areas.

When arriving from Water Plant RD take the driveway to the left and travel up to the parking areas. (Front end parking only) From there you will walk down towards the steel buildings then go left to the last building.
