LCSC New to Competitive Shooting 101726

For those who are interested in the action shooting sports but are not sure if it is the right choice, this is the course for you!
While this course has a USPSA focus, the general safety issues and procedures are a good base for other action shooting sports. We will cover the non-negotiable USPSA rules related to safety and how they apply to disqualifications, the USPSA divisions, gear requirements and classification system, as well as match etiquette and suggested gear.
This is not an introduction to firearms course and is intended for those with a good understanding of shooting fundamentals and firearm manipulation. Please see the link below for course prerequisites and equipment requirements.
There are no firearms or ammunition allowed in the classroom, please leave your gear in your vehicle until instructed otherwise. Snacks, lunch and drinks are allowed however.
This course is first come, first served. If the course is full, you can register and be placed on the wait list. You will be approved as withdraws come through.
Please note that you will need to complete an action pistol match without disqualification within 6 months of completing this course or you may be asked to retake the course before participating in an LCSC match after the 6 months has lapsed.
Check-in begins at 8:30 in the LGR Pro Shop. Course will start at 9:00 AM on Bay 3 of the action range.
