This event will require a Centerfire rifle.

Safety Notice:
– Keep ALL firearms in your vehicle until after the safety briefing and you are instructed to bring them to the firing line.
– No illegal firearms are allowed.
– At centerfire-friendly ranges, rifle cartridges are limited to 8mm (rifle) or .45 caliber (pistol and pistol caliber carbines).
– Effective 8/8/2025, Project Appleseed has temporarily suspended the SIG-Sauer P320/M17/M18 (all variants) in our Pistol Clinics.
– Parents of youth attending, please read our Message to Parents.
Subject to state and local laws, Instructors at your event may have discounted .22 ammo available. Reach out to the contact at the bottom of this page for availability.

West Des Moine area is approximately 11 miles to the east.
Restaurant outside range.  Casey’s outside range. Both about 1/2 mile west.
Directions:
Drive south from I-80 into town to Main St.  turn east and follow Main St. past the American Legion building until the street turns to gravel.
The gravel road is our driveway.  Follow that to the building at the 600 yard line.
