Flagstaff Action Shooters USPSA for June
This one is different! We are hosting an NROI Range Officer Training event this weekend, and the RO candidates need to get some range time. So... we are moving the match to Sunday instead of Saturday.
Arrive thirty minutes early for check-in, or ninety minutes early to help with set up.
***Repeat: Sunday, not Saturday***
The match will be at Prevail Training Center (formerly Camp Savage), and the fee will be $15 for FAS members, $25 for non-members. Membership is $50 per year. Kids shoot free. This is payable at the range, cash or check. We do NOT use PractiScore membership.
Directions to Prevail Training Center: http://flagstaffactionshooters.org/location
Eye and ear protection are required, even for spectators, and you must be present at the safety briefing at the start of the match to participate. All shooters and observers must sign a waiver.
We operate under cold range rules. Do not exit your vehicle with a loaded weapon. The only time we handle firearms is at a "safe table" (without ammo), or at the at the firing line under the direction of a safety officer. Firearms remain unloaded until the safety officer directs the participant to "make ready."
No SERPA or other trigger finger release holsters (unless permanently disabled and allowed by the match director or range master).
Plan on a total round count of ~100-150, many of us bring at least 200 rounds to be safe (or because we miss a lot).
NOTE TO NEW SHOOTERS: You must have attended our Introduction to Action Shooting class. If you have not, please email the Match Director to arrange for a briefing before the match.
