SETUP
7:45am arrival with a sign in cut off at 8:15am at which time safety will happen and setup will be finalized. If you're not there for safety briefing, you can't shoot!
Day 1 - Saturday
This will be a 3 gun match (Pistol , PCC/Rimfire, Shotgun) with 5 stages.
We plan to pull out LOTS of props, so setup help is absolutely required. Arrive at 745 to help with setup, safety briefing to follow setup.
We will be shooting on the Rifle Range, but max target distance will be 150m.
There will be shotgun slug targets, so plan accordingly.
Approximate minimum round count for Day One
Pistol - 60-80
PCC/Rimfire - 40-60
Shotgun - 20-30
Slugs - 5
Spartan Division
Spartans will be expected to complete physical tasks along with shooting, both on the clock.
Spartans must carry all their gear for the 2 days on the person from stage to stage. While on the stage, including while patching, they must maintain a minimum of 15 lbs of gear on their person (usually a loaded plate carrier or backpack). Small statured shooters may decrease to 10 lbs.
CAMPOUT TO FOLLOW!
We are planning to camp out on Saturday night (specific location on range tbd). There is usually a big BBQ and drinks after the match, so bring some things for yourself, and maybe more to share.
At this point, we CAN still have a campfire, so firewood will be required. If things change, we will communicate as soon as possible so people can arrange propane fire pits.
