DPC SHOTGUN MATCH – April 2026

You will need this code to enter the main gate at Dallas Pistol Club.
CHECK-IN CLOSES AT 8:55 AM THE DAY OF MATCH WITH SHOOTERS MEETING AT 9:15 AM.
Match begins at 9.30 AM.
This match will typically have 4-5 stages (60-75 rounds required), primarily utilizing steel targets shot with birdshot. There may be one stage, such as a “plate rack” that is primarily speed shooting oriented. Some matches will require a limited use of slug ammo (5 rounds or less). Slugs are always shot at/against cardboard targets for safety. This is a “game” that will provide a challenge for all. Matches are held in the North Action Bays.
We require that you use LEAD SHOT (7.5 shot or smaller required). No steel or other “waterfowl” type shot will be permitted, due to ricochet danger. We recommend that you bring about 100 rounds with you, depending on your skill level. Some stages will require reloads. Stuffing ammo in a pants pocket will work, but it is uncomfortable. Vests with loops or big pockets or belt/chest style ammo carriers are encouraged.
Match Fees
All matches are $20 for members and $30 for non-members. The $30 includes the $5 Daily Membership Fee for non-members that expires at the end of the match.

Observing the match is allowed, welcomed, and free for Members and Non-Members. Eye and Ear protection are required. If you can’t register to “Observe” on PractiScore, you must electronically sign a eWaiver when you check in at clubhouse with the Match Director before the match registration ends. Please check appropriate OBSERVE boxes if available on the match page, but do not select a squad.
*DPC OPERATES A “COLD” RANGE! Guns may only be HANDLED IN 1 OF 2 “SAFE AREAS” or ON THE FIRING LINE under the supervision of a range officer!*
