THURSDAY PRACTICE MATCH
Thursday nights starting at 4:30 & 7:00 PM
Difficulty: Easy to Moderate
Pre-registration is required. Registration opens the Sunday before the match at 7 PM.
Two start times are available at 4:30 PM and 7:00 PM. New shooters must attend a meeting at 6:00 PM and then shoot at 7:00 PM. We reserve Squad 7 for new shooters with our mentor.
Setup starts at 2 PM for those that want to help.

– Handguns and pistol caliber carbine only, minimum 9mm
– Hit factor scoring
– 80-100 required hits (bring double the ammo your first time)
– 3 to 4 mags or speed loaders recommended
– No shooting allowed past 10 PM
Match fees are $25.
– $5 discount for Cactus members (calculated automatically)
– $8 discount for same day receipt from the main range (email receipt to [email protected])
– $10 discount for Juniors under 18 (first entry only)
Thursday night classifications: After your first time (Tyro) please move to D class until you win 3 times, then move to C, etc. If you are already classified in USPSA, IPSC, IDPA, etc., please start in that class (after Tyro). Pins are awarded for division winners in each class. Please notify a match official the following week if you win.
Backup Gun (BUG) division is small frame double-action (or striker) semi-auto with 3.8″ max barrel length (including chamber) and 6 rounds max capacity.
***REFUND POLICY FOR THURSDAY MATCHES***
Refunds are given for a withdrawal before Wednesday at Noon (the day before the match) or if we can fill your spot from the waitlist. Refunds for withdrawing from the match will be net of any credit credit card processing fees that we incur.
