Practical Pistol
Practical Pistol is a combination of popular action Pistol shooting sports.
Practical Pistol is a safe fun environment to test your skills,practice and utilize your firearm in a Practical application.
Equipment needed
- Eye and hearing protection
- The ability to safely handle and manipulate a firearm
-Holster (that properly fits the firearm)
-3 magazines
-Magazine pouches (pockets can be used to store extra magazines)
- A cover garment that conceals the firearm and magazine pouches (some stages will not require a garment)
- Appximantily 100 rounds of ammunition
Scoring
Scoring is time based.
Targets have different Scoring areas that add time to the overall time it took to complete the stage.
-scoring area's -0,-1,-3 misses -5,no shoot -5, procedural -5
safety and procedures
-Buffalo valley is a cold range, all firearms are to be unloaded and cleared when arriving at an event.
- firearms should only be handled then give direction from the range officer or when at the safe table.
- ammo is prohibited at the safe table
-180 rule
