Bristlecone Comp Practice (Filipp)- Level 1 - June 10th
Pre-Requisites:
*Formal training in the firearm platform you are shooting
*Holster qualified
*Down range experience with your firearms
*Pistol/Rifle/PCC only
You should have some experience/understanding of competitive shooting. This is not a class; this is an opportunity to practice. If you cannot demonstrate a high level of safety with your guns downrange, you may be asked to observe and not participate. It is highly recommended that you have taken Holster Fundamental class and or USPSA safety class prior to attending
This 2-3 hour session will provide an opportunity to practice fundamentals of safe handling in the context of competition. Whether you are looking to get into USPSA or Multigun, this session will give you the opportunity to practice basic skills.
You will also develop skills to become an effective range officer (running the shot timer and the scoring pad). This session is geared towards the shooter that is starting out in competition and wants to:
• Work on getting their USPSA safety card (no card is issued until you have completed the USPSA Safety course)
• Practice basics • Learn/Practice range officer duties (clock and scoring) Recommended Equipment:
• Minimum 150 rounds of ammunition for each platform you are bringing.
• Sturdy Belt & Holster. • Rifles & PCC's must have a chamber flag.
