Burgersfort Defensive Pistol Club invites all paid-up and eligible SADPA members to participate in 13 challenging and innovative stages between 12-15 June 2026.

Safety Officers and approved Match Officials working on this match will shoot on the 12-13 of June 2026.
Officials has no match fee.
Match Details:
Match Type: Tier 3 - SADPA Handgun Match
Stages: 12 (approved for Tier 3 standards) + a Chrony stage
Minimum Round Count: 250 (additional rounds recommended)
Electronic Match Booklet: To be distributed at a later stage
Match Shirt will be loaded in the 1'st week of March'26

Entry Eligibility
The Northern Regionals 2026 Handgun Tier 3 Match is open to all SADPA members in good standing, subject to the match administration rules outlined below:
Eligibility Requirements:
• 1.1.2 All shooters wishing to compete in Tier 2 and above matches must have accumulated at least 20 points in the 18 months prior to the match date.
• 1.1.3 Shooters who do not meet the 20-point requirement may contact the Match Director and motivate why they should be allowed to participate. The Match Director’s decision to accept or reject the application is final.
Important Notes:
• If an entrant does not have a valid classification for the division entered, or does not meet the points requirement, they will be notified via email.
• It is the responsibility of the entrant to arrange with their club to complete a classifier before 30 May 2026.
• If you do not meet the eligibility requirements or need to request an exemption, please email the Match Director at: degrooteboomskiet@gmail.com
Match Equipment.
All equipment must comply with Match Rule 7 of the SADPA Match Rules, Version 2.6.
Medals
Medals at this match will be awarded in accordance with SADPA Match Rules Section 11, with the following amendments:
Medal Awards (Individual):
• All shooters will be divided into gender categories: Male and Female
• Within each gender category, medals will be awarded to the top 3 competitors per Division and Classification.
• This applies to all age categories.
Category Awards:
• Category awards (e.g. Junior, Senior, Distinguished Senior) will be issued as per Rule 11.6.2.
Most Accurate Awards:
• The “Most Accurate” award will be split into:
o Most Accurate: Optics and Lasers (OL)
o Most Accurate: Iron Sights
(As per Rule 11.7)
