This match is open to all CAC holders.
ALPHA MATCH
Unit issued weapons or personal weapons allowed.
Attire will be service utilities or appropriate civilian attire.
If government weapons will be used, they must have a current limited technical inspection (LTI) and pre-fire inspection (PFI) on file with the owning armory. WTBN will provide appropriate ammunition for all alpha match shooters. Units are responsible for transporting government weapons per Marine Corps and base policies. Letters of transmittal are not required.
Shooters will not be afforded the opportunity to zero or verify zero prior to the match.
Shooters using personal weapons must bring personal ammunition.
Personal weapons and ammunition will be inspected by WTBn personnel before use. The following types of weapons/ammunition are NOT authorized:
•Magnum cartridges
•Pistol Calibers Larger than 10mm
•Tracer, incendiary, explosive, or AP ammunition
•Large format (AR) pistols without stabilizing brace
•Any weapon not in compliance with state or federal firearms regulations
•Any curio/relic, black powder, or unserviceable firearm
During competition and preparatory activities, weapons and ammunition tables for government AA&E will be physically separated from those for civilian weapons and ammunition by at least 25 yards to prevent accidental mixing of the two and to provide enhanced physical security. At no time will government ammunition or magazines be used in personally owned weapons or vice versa.
Shooter check-in will be held from 0730-0800 in the inclement weather shelter on Alpha Range located directly across from the WTBn CP RR-131.
Shooter parking will be the parking lot adjacent to RR-131 (WTBN CP)
Briefs will begin at 0800. No late check-ins will be allowed to participate.
