Artemis April USPSA

April 26 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

REGISTRATION:
No walk-ins or morning-of registration. Late arrivals cannot be accomodated. Registration is solely handled through practiscore. Match fees are payable in advance via the url in your confirmation email.
Upon registration, you will receive an email containing the payment link. If you can’t attend, please withdraw in a timely fashion. When your payment is recorded, you will receive a second email with notice that you’ve been approved.
Once match registration fills to capacity, a wait-list begins. IF YOU ARE ON THE WAIT-LIST, DO NOT PAY YET. Your payment may in that case be forfeit, and it will certainly not allow you to cut in line. If and when registrants withdraw, we will work our way down the wait-list and contact individuals via email as spots becomes available.
If you want to shoot with your friends, you are encouraged squad ASAP. Squads may be adjusted by staff to ensure safety, tempo, and USPSA rules compliance.
Please try to use the same email for payment as you do on practiscore. Occasionally the names and emails don’t match up and it becomes a scavenger hunt to figure out who’s who. If you’re using a different name or email, please email [email protected] to clarify.
If you are paying twice (for yourself and another competitor), please email [email protected] explaining who you’re also paying for.

FIRST TIME USPSA SHOOTERS OR ARTEMIS MATCH PARTICIPANTS:
Please arrive no later than 0715 and introduce yourself to a match official so we can run through the major do’s and don’ts of USPSA and range specific considerations.
USPSA OPERATES A COLD RANGE:
Due to the size and layout of our facility, we do not have separate unloading/loading areas for competitors who arrive CCWing. We don’t discourage CCW, but you are required to notify an official as soon as you arrive. We have no problem walking you down to the berm so you can clear and bag your carry gun when you arrive. Similar arrangements can be made to load and holster for the street after the match is over. There are no exceptions for LE/MIL status. Failure to comply with this rule results in a match disqualification. Belting up, loading magazines and checking gear are permitted almost anywhere, but there is NO GUN HANDLING IN THE LOBBY, NO EXCEPTIONS.
SAFE TABLES:
White folding tables are provided in the range areas and marked Safe Table. These are the only locations not under direct RO supervision where a gun is permitted out of a holster or bag. Use them to holster at the beginning, and pack up at the end of the day. Dry fire is permitted at these locations, but per USPSA rules, no ammunition, magazines, snap-caps, inert rounds, empty brass, or the like may be handled there.
MAGAZINE CAPACITY:
As New York is a ban-state, no more than 10 rounds may be loaded in any magazine at the start signal. There is no exception for LE/MIL. Loading over division capacity in other states results in a move to Open division, but in ban states it’s an instant disqualification with no exceptions. Have 4 magazines available.
