This is a traditional 25m Project Appleseed rifle event.
Both Centerfire and 22 Rimfire rifles are allowed at this event.

Safety Notice:
– Keep ALL firearms in your vehicle until after the safety briefing and you are instructed to bring them to the firing line.
– No illegal firearms are allowed.
– At centerfire-friendly ranges, rifle cartridges are limited to 8mm (rifle) or .45 caliber (pistol and pistol caliber carbines).
– Effective 8/8/2025, Project Appleseed has temporarily suspended the SIG-Sauer P320/M17/M18 (all variants) in our Pistol Clinics.
– Parents of youth attending, please read our Message to Parents.
Subject to state and local laws, Instructors at your event may have discounted .22 ammo available. Reach out to the contact at the bottom of this page for availability.
Range Fee: No range fee.
Camping Available: The range does have limited onsite primitive campground sites and a couple with electrical outlets.  Please contact the range contact listed below for additional information. In addition to the onsite camping, there are a number of campgrounds and resorts in the area.
Hotels: Hotel options close (within 10 miles of the range) are limited, but a larger selection of options are available in Duluth, MN.

Head northwest on N Lake Ave toward E 2nd Street
Turn left at W 7th Street
Turn right toward Mesaba Ave/MN-194 W
Turn right at Mesaba Ave/MN-194 W
Continue onto CR-4/Rice Lake Rd
Turn left at West Arrowhead Rd/CR-4
Turn right at CR-4/Rice Lake Rd
Turn left at County Rd 43/Emerson Rd
Continue onto County Rd 48 / Fish Lake Rd
