Every third Sunday, we'll have our IDPA match open to the public!
Every responsible shooters are welcome to this WEGC-IDPA match. You don't need to be a WEGC member or IDPA member to join us.
2.Safety! Safety! Safety!
2.1 Disqualification(DQ) (Reference : IDPA Rule Book 2.2 Unsafe Firearm Handling), shooter may not join the next month match, but still welcome back to the matches after that. If shooter disagree with the SO's discussion, please contact me (Stephen Shea) right away.
2.2 Negligent Discharge
Intentional actions (or inactions) that lead to an unintended firing due to carelessness or failure to adhere to safety protocols. Negligent discharges are often the result of improper handling, like keeping a finger on the trigger when not intending to fire or not following basic safety rules.
Shooter may not come back to our match in the future, it's a case by case basis, depends on the incident report completed by club MD and his assistant. (Reference : IDPA Rule Book 3.11.1.1)
2.3 Accidental Discharge:
Medical reasons or other circumstances beyond the user's control will NOT be published, but shooter will be advised to stop shooting this match due to shooter's health condition(mentally and physically).
3. Dignity and respect
Without the hard work of our volunteers, this match would not exist. Please respect all our range staff, regardless of their race, color, or accent.
If you don’t respect WEGC safety rules, you are NOT welcome to this match!
If you don't follow the safety command from our RSOs or match staffs, you are NOT welcome.

If you violate any range safety rules, you'll be asked to leave without any refund.

Match Announcement
1. Check in(Bay 8, 8:30AM)
2. New Shooters meeting( Bay 7,8:10AM)
3. SOs Walk through(Bay 6, 8:45AM) Only appointed SOs allow to join.
4. Match Director briefing (Bay 8, 9:00AM)
5. Shooting starts immediately after MD briefing and squadding are completed.
6. Parking, park your cars at the right side of the road(East Side), NO PARKING inside of the bay or in front of the bay.
7. Range Staffs(WEGC Range Masters dress in Orange, IDPA Match Staffs dress in Red)

(IMPORTANT, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE AND ACCOUNTABLE FOR KNOWING THEM!!!)
Keep driving speed down to 5 mph on the road to the entry gate, and 5 mph on the range. This is for everyone's safety. Enforcement may lead to violators being asked to go home without shooting the match.
All competitors and guests must sign a waiver(Please complete your online waiver) to be on range property or to shoot.
