Dust off those two-time World War winning dinosaur guns, it's the 1911's time to shine! The 1911 Single Stack Resurgence is back.
Generation Practical Shooters presents the Texas Single Stack 1911 Championship 2026 at Wallis-Orchard Gun Range in Wallis, TX.
This is a USPSA Level 2 match with 10 stages and ~250 rounds.
The only division recognized is Single Stack: the 1911 division. Only 1911s are allowed and must adhere to the equipment rules in Appendix D5 in the USPSA rulebook: https://uspsa.org/rules.
Single Stack is one of the few divisions balanced between major and minor power factor. Scoring with minor getting 10 rounds a magazine and major only getting 8 rounds. Don't hesitate to bring a 9mm 1911 because they can easily hold their own against the major guns.
Our Range Master, Ray Hirst, will be bringing back some PASA Park flavored stages from back in the day.

Class winners: minimum 5 shooters for 1st place and one place added every 5 shooters in class
Category winners: minimum 5 shooters
Hotels: There are nearby hotels in Sealy, Brookshire, and Rosenberg, and it's pretty easy to get to the range from any of them.
