The Henning Group - Texas Single Stack 1911 & LOCAP Championship 2026 Presented by BELT
Dust off those two-time World War winning dinosaur guns, it's the 1911's time to shine! The 1911 Single Stack Resurgence is back. Plus we've added Limited 10 and Revolver to help round out the event.
Generation Practical Shooters presents the The Henning Group - Texas Single Stack 1911 & LOCAP Championship 2026 Presented by BELT at Wallis-Orchard Gun Range in Wallis, TX.
This is a USPSA Level 2 match with 10 stages and ~250 rounds.
The only divisions recognized are Single Stack, Limited 10, and Revolver.
Remember Limited 10 allows optics (either frame or slide mounted), allows for Major or Minor scoring, and is limited to 10 rounds in your magazines after the start signal – See Appendix A3 for Limited 10 Division requirements. You can shoot your CO or LO guns in Limited 10 as well – just download your mags to 10 rounds max per mag after the start signal. Having a limited number of rounds per mag really changes the game when it comes to efficient stage planning requiring you to be at the top of your game when it comes to reloading.
You can also add another day of shooting to include a 2nd division. Keep in mind that only the first division you shoot will count for score. You can mix and match divisions or shoot the same division twice. This can be done by shooting all day Friday for your 1st division - which counts for the match score - and then all day Saturday or half-day Sat/Sun to shoot your 2nd division (as Not for Competition - NFC). We do have a few folks taking this opportunity to get more trigger time at this match for the three days. If you do want to shoot twice, please register for a second time including “NFC” with your last name. That will help us keep your match and NFC scores separate.
We have some awesome sponsors tor this match including: Henning Group, BELT, Vortex, Howitzer, Double Alpha Academy, Alpha-Charlie App, Systematic Performance Concepts (Rob Epifania), XS Sights, Cloak & Dagger, Hunters HD Gold, Steel Target Paint, LOK Grips and more!
Our Range Master, Ray Hirst, will be bringing back some PASA Park flavored stages from back in the day.
