The Exodus Escape! NRA IDPA April Match

April 21 @ 5:00 pm - April 22 @ 12:00 am

Exodus 14:14
“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
IF THIS MATCH IS PRIVATE IT IS ONLY OPEN FOR SO’S TO SIGN UP, THE GENERAL PUBLIC CAN SIGN UP 8 DAYS BEFORE AT 7PM.
This will be a 4 stage IDPA Match, about 50- 70 rounds. Hourly squads start at 1PM, last one at 7PM, tear down starts at 8PM. The time that you shoot is the number squad that you choose. Squadding is opened once the match is full so everyone gets a fair shot at the time that they want. SO’s are signed up first to ensure that the MD isn’t the only one working all day. 1pm squad is reserved for set up crew, but there can be allowances to that if someone on set up would prefer to shoot later. This is simply to ensure that there are no shooters waiting for us to get started if we have a light set up crew- all set up crew start together when we’re done. No walk-on shooters. Price is $35, discounts for set up crew and SOs who work the match. 7PM Shooters will be required to stay to cleanup range due to NRA Range staffing limitations. Arrive 15-30 minutes early if you do not have a range card, NO MORE DAILY WAIVERS, EVERYONE HAS TO HAVE RANGE CARD 2/2/26. There is a $10 fee from the NRA range for a range card. Other shooters arrive a few minutes prior to squad time, if you miss your safety brief, we might not be able to work you in. If you have shot IDPA at least 3 times, you do need to register as an IDPA member. If you no show or withdraw within 24 hours or less of the match you will not be approved for the following match. We often have a waitlist but we can’t replace you the day of since we are on the range. The range shuts down to the public for us to shoot these matches and only makes money from the shooters on match days, so we can’t have a high volume of no shows. Everyone who works these matches are strictly unpaid volunteers, including the match director. Schedule for the year is at the bottom of the club page in the description.
Safety info:
Follow all safety rules at all times: treat every gun as if it’s loaded, keep your muzzle pointed in a safe direction, keep your finger straight and outside of the trigger guard unless you are shooting and know your target and what’s beyond it. Shooting the ceiling, floor or walls is an automatic DQ, as is breaking the 180. The safe tables are for handling unloaded guns only. This is a COLD range, so if you come with a loaded gun, find an SO to unload you into the berm. Do NOT unload at the safe table. Only handle firearms under the direction of an SO or at the safe table. There is to be no ammo at the safe table. And there is to be no steel or range-damaging ammo like Wolf or Tulo, green tip or tracer ammo used.
