TAC2 IDPA June 13 2026

This month we are offering an IDPA and a GPA rules version for the same stages which are setup per IDPA rules. There are two different matches in PractiScore one for GPA and one for IDPA. Please register for the correct version that you want to shoot. We will have squads that will be all IDPA and squads that will be all GPA. We cannot have mixed squads because the scoring is different. I will post the GPA and the IDPA results separately in PractiScore. Below is an overview of the difference between the two :
Galactic Pistol Alliance (GPA)
Things you need to know- a few differences from another sport
● No cover garments
● Load your mags to whatever you want. You must complete one reload after the first shot and before your last anywhere, anyhow, anytime. No worries about dropping mags with rounds left in it.
● Stages will be a max of 24 rounds. Unlimited non threats and steel targets of all kinds that fall
● Fault lines are the same. As well as slicing the pie. If an activated target has not yet appeared while slicing the pie, you may engage the next one in sequence. You do not have to wait on targets that aren't there while engaging other threats.
● Targets that are “designated” in the open may be shot in ANY order. All others from available cover
● One target may have a different round count like normal, it doesn't have to be the first
● Equipment is everything you run now plus USPSA gear is now legal. Drop holsters, race holsters, and just about everything except using your stand alone magnet during the COF. Serpas are still nogo. Basically RUN WHAT YOU BRUNG!
● New guns are included. Your shadow 2 is now legal. There aren’t any weight limits for guns.
● All hammer guns in any division may use the safety. NO decocking or lowering of the hammer if you choose.
● Target engagements for SHO and WHO is a max of 10 yards
● Points down are as follows: The entire head is down 0, period. A down 1 is a .5 sec penalty. A down 3 is 1.5 sec . Miss is a full 5 sec, and entered in the tablet as a Target Miss in the penalty section OR as a down10 in the scoring section of the tablet.
● Failure to do a mandatory reload is a full 6 sec penalty. All others are 3 sec as normal.
● NON threats are a full 5 sec
● Now penalties will be applied one PE per target in some cases. It's clear in the rules.
● You may be penalized if targets are specified to be engaged on the move and you don't
● No intentional shooting through any wall or vision barriers in this game
● Zebra targets are back with no limitation of percentages of painted areas
● AIR GUNNING IS ALLOWED UNTIL YOU ARE AT THE START POSITION

STARTING WITH THE JUNE 13th MATCH, CONCEALMENT GARMENT WILL NOT BE REQUIRED.
The IDPA has prohibited the use of the SIG P320 and its variants. In accordance with their guidance, we are implementing a similar ban on their participation in our matches.
Monthly IDPA match at TAC2 - 6 stages - 100-108 rounds.
On-site registration is 9am till 9:45am on the morning of the match. This will allow us to start the match on time at 10:00 AM.
Please try to request to withdraw from the match if your plans change and you are not going to attend.
Cost for the match is $30 (Members are $20).
Women and Juniors (under 18 with parent or guardian) shoot free.
If we use the Waterproof targets - there is no extra charge!!! We included it as part of our match fee.
