Silver Creek Conservation Club PCSL Sheepdog Match
The spirit of the sheepdog match is to provide a variable, defensive, practical test of both shooting skill and acumen. Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong (1 Corinthians 13).
This is not limited to any specific equipment/division or match format, but rather the ability to quickly and correctly make engagement decisions while on the course of fire. Our PCSL Sheepdog match focuses on Defensive/PCC divisions and dynamic target discernment. Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another (Proverbs 27:17).
PCSL rules and divisions apply. With the following modifications:
1. Concealment is optional.
2. Target selection is determined at the audible signal.
3. Unloaded firearms may only be handled in Safe Zones, per SCCC rules
4. Minimum steel distance is 10 yards, per SCCC rules.

STAGES: We will run four stages.
Registration open by 08:30am
Shooters meeting at 09:30am
Shooting starts at 10:00am
COST: Non-Members, $20. Members, $5.
DIVISIONS: Divisions include:
- DCOMP
- DPRAC
- PCC
ROUNDS: Magazines can be loaded to the following division capacities:
- DPRAC: 15
- DCOMP: 20
- PCC: 30
SCORING: Time Plus, Target Neutralization. Neutralized is defined as:
- 1 shot to the T zone
- 2 shots to the A zone
- 3 shots on target
PENALTIES: Time penalties include:
- Failure to neutralize (FTN): +5
- Failure to Hit (FTH): +10
- Failure to Engage (FTE): +15
- Procedural: +5
- Hit on non-threat (NT): +5
TARGETS: Target engagement color will be determined at the timer beep. Three target colors will be used:
- Threat: white
- Threat: brown
- Non-threats: red
SQUADDING: We will make every effort to keep you squadded where you want, but the match directors will move shooters to even out squads to ensure efficient flow of the match.
