San Antonio Revolver Enthusiasts SARE ICORE Match

The inaugural San Antonio Revolver Enthusiasts (SARE) ICORE match is Saturday, 23 May 2026

Please note the start time is 4:30 pm.
CHECK-IN: 3:45 pm – 4:15 pm
We welcome walk in registration if you decide to attend at the last minute.
Set up crew please arrive at 2:45 pm. Very important -- No set up crew, no match. Please send me a note if you can assist with set up.
CASH ONLY - Cost is $30.00 for one gun; shooting a second gun or shooting the match twice is an extra $10.00.
We will close Check-In at 4:15. If you are running late, that's OK. Please call or text me and I will leave you on the match roster. As a courtesy to other shooters, please withdraw if you cannot attend.
EQUIPMENT: You need your revolver, 3 speed loaders or moon clips (minimum), a holster, and speed loader or moon clip carrier.
Ammunition: Less than 150 rounds depending upon how you shoot the match.

International Confederation of Revolver Enthusiasts or ICORE was founded as an alternative to the "arms race" that was occurring in the other action shooting sports at that time, a revolver-only competition would allow even the most basic equipment to be used and still provide enjoyment and satisfaction.
The sport combines elements of the Bianchi Cup, IPSC, and the Steel Challenge into demanding competition exclusively for revolvers. The D-1 is our standard paper target and falling and stationary steel plates may also be used in some stages. Shooters may use any belt holster and speed loader carrier that meets the ICORE rule requirements. Shooters may reload from the pocket if they wish.
