SAGC Steel Challenge - May 2026

The San Angelo Gun Club will host a 5-stage Steel Challenge match on Saturday, May 9, 2026.
The match menu for May is Outer Limits, Roundabout, 5 To Go, Smoke & Hope, and Showdown.
$15 per Adult for up to two gun entries
$5 per Junior (13-17)
$0 per Preteen (under 13)
0830 – Stage Setup
0930 – Check-in, payment
0955 – Safety Briefing
1000 – Match Shooting Begins
Eye and ear protection REQUIRED for all competitors and spectators
Bring extra magazines (for 10rd mags bring 5 or more mags, 15+rd mags bring 3 to 5 mags)
For Centerfire Pistol Division, a strong-side belt holster is required. The holster must cover the trigger & safely retain the pistol (inside-the-waistband holsters and drawing from concealment are NOT PERMITTED in Steel Challenge)
For Rimfire Pistol Division, a case/bag is mandatory
For Rimfire Rifle and Pistol Caliber Carbine Divisions, a case/bag AND chamber flag is mandatory
125 rounds per match entry (bring an extra 50-100 rounds)
22LR, 9mm, .38cal, .40 S&W, .45 ACP
No magnum ammo, No steel core ammo, No incendiary ammo
