SAGC Steel Challenge - 2026-10-03

The San Angelo Gun Club will host a 6-stage Steel Challenge match on Saturday, OCTOBER 3, 2026.
*** START TIME FOR THIS MATCH IS 0900 ***
The match will feature the following stages:
Showdown (SC-102), Accelerator (SC-105), Roundabout (SC-108), Smoke & Hope (SC-103), 5 To Go (SC-101), The Pendulum (SC-106)
$15 Adult for up to two gun entries
$5 Junior (13-17)
$0 Preteen (under 13)
0800 – Stage Setup
0830 – Check-in, payment
0845 – Safety Briefing
0900 – Match Shooting Begins
Eye and ear protection REQUIRED for all competitors and spectators
Bring extra magazines (for 10rd mags bring 5 or more mags, 15+rd mags bring 3 to 5 mags)
For Centerfire Pistol Division, a strong-side belt holster is required. The holster must cover the trigger & safely retain the pistol (inside-the-waistband holsters and drawing from concealment are NOT PERMITTED in Steel Challenge)
For Rimfire Pistol Division, a case/bag is mandatory
For Rimfire Rifle and Pistol Caliber Carbine Divisions, a case/bag AND chamber flag is mandatory
150 rounds per match entry (bring an extra 50-100 rounds)
22LR, 9mm, .38cal, .40 S&W, .45 ACP
No magnum ammo, No steel core ammo, No incendiary ammo
