Richmond GPA - September 13 Match

Welcome to Richmond Rod & Gun Club's Galactic Pistol Alliance (GPA) registration page.
Matches are held the second Sunday of every other month and will feature six stages.
Registration check in starts at 8:00 AM, with shooter's meeting and match to begin shortly after. If you cannot attend, please withdraw as soon as possible.
Please read all of the following for information and commonly asked questions. GPA is designed to be easily understood, and utilizes fundamentals from both IDPA and USPSA. Highlights include:
- NO cover garments
- NO tactical priority for targets in the open (If fault line is present, slice the pie)
- Uses 1/2 second scoring
- Uses IDPA targets
- A hit anywhere in the head box is a down zero
- No power factor
- 24 round stage maximum
- One mandatory reload per stage is required
- Reload any time and place after the first shot and before the last
- Drop mags anytime with NO PE
- Mags may be loaded to full capacity/ no limit on number of mags you can carry
- Targets may be required to be shot OTM (On the move)
- Uses USPSA overlays for scoring
- Ported barrels and compensators ok (included in barrel length)
- USPSA and IDPA rigs ok (no magnets for primary retention)
- Eight shot revolvers are legal
- NO Serpa style holsters allowed.
Divisions are based on barrel length and are as follows:
DIVISIONS
** No magazine capacity unless otherwise stated.
- FSO-Full Size Optic (barrel between 4.1"-5.4")**
- FSI- Full Size Irons (barrel between 4.1"-5.4")
- CPO-Compact Pistol Optic ( barrel 4.1" or less)
- CPI-Compact Pistol Irons (barrel 4.1" or less)
- LCI-Limited Capacity Pistol, Iron sights. Barrel length 5.4" inches or less and all loading devices limited to 10 rounds or less
- LCO- Limited Capacity Pistol, Optic. Barrel length 5.4" or less. Any pistol using all loading devices to limited to ten or fewer rounds.
- Revolver- Any barrel length, maximum 8 round capacity, iron sights only
** Optics must be slide mounted. 
While there is no current classification system for PCC, you are welcome to shoot the match. Your scores will be uploaded to Practiscore as usual.

GPA offers a FREE trial membership for one year. Their website is listed below, please considering joining and supporting their mission. While you do not need a membership to shoot the match, you will not receive a classification without one.

IMPORTANT POLICIES AND SAFETY INFORMATION
SIG SAUER P320 BAN
Effective immediately, the SIG Sauer P320 and all its variants are banned from RRGC property. This applies to ALL matches and disciplines including but not limited to: USPSA, IDPA, GPA, PCSL, Steel Challenge and Multigun.
REGISTRATION & SQUADDING
Priority registration will go to current RO's/SO's in a certified action shooting sport. Once there are two on each squad, the remaining slots will open to both members and the general public. This will benefit squad safety and flow, and also help to prevent any last minute changes for SO squad balancing.
AMMO POLICY
Steel case ammo is allowed.
Steel core or bimetal projectiles are NOT allowed (Please test your ammo with a magnet before attending)
SHOOTER ELIGIBILITY
All shooters must meet one of the following criteria:
- Have a USPSA, IDPA, GPA, Steel Challenge, or other action shooting sport classification
- Completed an Intro to Competition class at: RRGC, Sacramento Valley Shooting Center, Targetmasters, Linden, DAP, Manzano or equivalent at an approved range or receive approval from the Match Director based on match history. If you have questions about this, please contact the MD. Failure to satisfy one of the requirements will result in removal from the match.
JUNIOR SHOOTERS
Parent or guardian must be present with waiver signed.

REMINDER: 5 MPH SPEED LIMIT ON CLUB PROPERTY
ALL SHOOTERS ARE REQUIRED TO HELP BRASS, RETURN EQUIPMENT TO STORAGE, AND TEAR DOWN PRIOR TO LEAVING THE RANGE.
