PORT MALABAR Rifle & Pistol Club - Has put MORATORIUM on POSSESSION & USE of Sig 320 and Derivative pistols. DO NOT BRING ON PROPERTY.
A basic shooting opportunity for controlled practice and competitive introduction to action shooting.
Five timed events from the low ready posture; may be shot multiple times. Approx 150 rounds.
Stages are similar to Glock match: 5 O'clock, M, Knock plates.
Registration /sign in 7:30 till 9 am. Match shooting till noon. We will start a full squad when ready.
$10 first entry, $5 ea additional. Cash only.
5 stages to shoot, must complete all 5 once. Max 2 entries in the squad. Glock or any brand & model pistol. Pistol caliber - no magnum, carbine conversions or PCCs. FL law, no binary or forced reset triggers.
All pistols will be loaded to 11 rounds maximum.
No drawing from holster - guns in a case or holstered (if AA certified) till RO directs you to table.
60 shooters max, 6 squads.
3 Divisions - .22 Rimfire, Ctr fire Iron sights or Optics.
Club members may use a club Glock 17 (limited number) - bring your own 9 mm Ammo, factory made 115 - 147 grain.
Shooter must have eye & ear protection.
Rules: Cold range - arrive unloaded, must be in Bay under RO control before loading.
Pistol = hand held (one hand capable), semi-auto or revolver. Arrive in case, range bag, box, backpack.
