This is a Pistol Clinic. The Pistol Clinic teaches the fundamentals of pistol/handgun safety, accuracy, and many other topics.
You must be at least 21 years of age to attend a pistol event in the State of Maryland.
Both 22LR and centerfire pistol cartridges are allowed at this event.

Safety Notice:
– Keep ALL firearms in your vehicle until after the safety briefing and you are instructed to bring them to the firing line.
– No illegal firearms are allowed.
– At centerfire-friendly ranges, rifle cartridges are limited to 8mm (rifle) or .45 caliber (pistol and pistol caliber carbines).
– Effective 8/8/2025, Project Appleseed has temporarily suspended the SIG-Sauer P320/M17/M18 (all variants) in our Pistol Clinics.
– Parents of youth attending, please read our Message to Parents.
Subject to state and local laws, Instructors at your event may have discounted .22 ammo available. Reach out to the contact at the bottom of this page for availability.

Camping is not available at this time.

Directions:
From Thurmont/Rt 15 North, take MD 77/W Main Street, and turn left. Continue straight onto MD-550/Jimtown Rd. Continue on MD-550 by thurning left at the intersection of MD-550 and Hessong Bridge Rd. Turn right onto Lucey Rd. Turn right onto Hunt Club Rd. Be mindful of the speed limit on Lucey Rd and Hunt Club Rd.
