Pistol 101

New to handguns or looking to build a solid foundation? Pistol 101 is a beginner-friendly class designed to teach safe, confident, and responsible handgun handling from the ground up.

This 2-hour course combines classroom instruction, dry-fire practice, and live-fire range time. We focus on safety first, then build practical shooting skills step-by-step so students feel comfortable before firing live ammunition.

What You’ll Learn

• The Four Universal Firearm Safety Rules
• Handgun components and ammunition basics
• Proper grip, stance, and sight alignment
• Trigger control and safe loading/unloading
• Range rules and shooting fundamentals
• Accuracy, marksmanship drills, and basic malfunction clearing

Our instructors take a hands-on, supportive approach and move at a pace that works for beginners. This class is ideal for first-time shooters, those returning after a long break, or anyone wanting to strengthen their fundamentals in a safe environment.

• Eye & ear protection (electronic ear pro recommended)
