As we did last year there will be a prize award system influenced by the Lewis Scoring system. The method this year has been refined to help “spread the wealth” and offer more random payments Here are the highlights:
Divisions of 1-4 competitors do not qualify for a payout.
Division of 5-9 competitors qualify for a first place payout of $40.00 only.
Divisions of 10-15 competitors qualify for first, second, and third place payouts.
Divisions of 16+ competitors qualify for first, second, third, and two modified Lewis system payouts.
All first place minimums are $40.00.
All second place minimums are $35.00.
All third place minimums are $25.00.
Modified Lewis system pays-out are fixed at $20 at the top of the middle third of competitors and the top of the lower third of competitors.
Prize money as a pool of each division is relative in size to the division size for first, second, and third place payouts.
Rounding factors apply up or down based on the nearest ten except where minimums have been specified.
Performance awards will be given based on placement.
Pioneer Sportsmen has a policy that shooters on their bays must keep their muzzles below the berms at all times while shooting including when reloading (revolvers excluded when reloading). This applies to all shooting on the range including during sanctioned matches. Members, including those who are match officials, are required to warn shooters of infractions and have the authority to ban shooters from the range after three infractions. This could result in a flight DNF and inability to continue shooting later in the match. USPSA/SCSA supports Pioneer's right to enforce this policy. Please respect our policy and avoid infractions.
