Pinetucky USPSA 18 Apr 2026
Practical Shooting measures the shooter’s ability to shoot rapidly and accurately through obstacle-laden courses. The shooter moves, negotiates, runs, and speed reloads through the stage as fast as their skill will allow. If this fast-paced shooting sport sounds like fun, come out and give it a try. Detailed Match Rules can be found at http://uspsa.org.
SIGN-IN:
09:15 – 09:45 Check-in
09:30 New Shooter Safety Briefing
10:00 Hammer Down
Please check-in before 09:45 or risk losing your squad spot. At 09:45 we remove those who have not checked-in, so that we can balance the squads. Anyone that checks-in after 09:45 will be squadded where needed.
If you have not shot a USPSA match before, please arrive early to check-in and make the 09:30 safety briefing. A Range Officer will brief you on General Match & Safety rules. Since this is a Level 1 match, coaching through the courses of fire is allowed if requested.
We have had a lot of people sign up and neither show up nor withdraw. Please make sure to sign up only if you intend to come and withdraw if you find you cannot make it.
Spectators are more than welcome to watch and encouraged to ask questions if they intend to shoot a match in future, but please wear eye and ear protection.

RELOADERS:
Please do not pick up brass during the match. All brass collection will be done after all of the stages have been completely torn down and returned to storage. We need everyone’s help during the match resetting the stages so we can keep things moving at a steady pace.
COLD RANGE:
Pinetucky’s Competition Bays is a Cold Range, so please leave your loaded CCW in your vehicle. Show up with your unloaded centerfire pistol or pistol-caliber carbine in an enclosed case and ask a match official where the safe area is so you can gear up. Overall match round count is usually between 100 and 150 rounds.
