PCDHFC Tac22 Brutality - June 20th
PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE ENTIRE EMAIL. If you have any questions or are not certain contact [email protected]. If you are deficient in equipment get in touch and we can try to figure out loaner equipment.
Core components of any brutality stage are designed around running, crawling, carrying, lifting, dragging, throwing, or climbing, and often some combination of the above combined with testing your marksmanship skills. We encourage everyone to participate but be aware of the physical exertion involved.
Practice fee is $10. If you are not a PCDHFC member it will be an additional $10 for the day card insurance. CASH on match day only.
This will be a 1-Gun or 2-Gun event: Rimfire Rifle and a Pistol if you have one.
Rimfire rifles must be chambered in 22lr. Pistol calibre rifles (such as lever actions) are allowed but must adhere to the Pistol calibre rules.
Pistol calibers up to 9mm, 45ACP, etc. NO MAGNUMS. Any other calibers please get in touch after registering.
NO CENTERFIRE RIFLE CARTRIDGES, STEEL CORE, AP OR LAP, TRACER, ETC FOR ANY PLATFORMS.
We request all shooters shooting a pistol have a holster for administrative carry. If you do not have a holster please contact us as we can make recommendations, loan a holster, or make an exception.
Brutality stages are shot entirely on steel, and the required number of impacts are required to progress (ie: the better you shoot the closer to the minimum round count you will be).
Minimum round count is 150 rounds for rifle and 75 for pistol. It is recommended to bring double the minimum in case of misses. A more exact round count will be provided closer to the match day.
Divisions are as follows:
Irons - Iron sights only.
Limited - Maximum of 1 platform with unmagnified optic (ie: Rifle or Pistol).
Open - No limitations on optics, or magnifications.
Armoured - Shooter must wear at least 15lb of gear on stage. May include plate carrier, chest rig, belt, water, holster, empty magazines. No limitations on optics or magnifications.
Match is held on Range 1 (https://maps.app.goo.gl/74Vw84JAQQvCSDqh7). Parking next to Range3/Traphouse is allowed.
We aim to accommodate all shooters but there are some minimum gear requirements:
Hearing protection.
Wraparound and Safety Rated Eye Protection. You need proper eye protection as we shoot steel.
Gloves, elbow and knee pads are highly recommended.
Chamber flags for rifles.
Holster if shooting a pistol.
Ability to carry 50 rounds of ammunition for pistol and rifle (Suggested but not required you can carry more if you are shooting rifle only.) Magazine pouches or other load bearing equipment are best. Large pockets or a dump pouch work in a pinch).
Active footwear, clothing suited for the weather, and other considerations such as water, lunch/snacks, sunscreen, etc.
Elbow and Knee pads are not required but may be desired.
If you are deficient in any of this equipment please register but you MUST reach out to me with plenty of time before the match so we can sort out your questions/needs.
