Parris Island Shooting Team August Action Rifle Match

Parris Island Shooting Team sponsors the Action Rifle Match to enhance marksmanship proficiency and combat readiness. This match develops and maintains a population of Marines with exceptional skills in rifle marksmanship who can improve other marksmanship instructors, coaches, and Marines within their current and all future units they are assigned. The competition takes place at Weapons and Field Training Battalion (WFTBN), Parris Island, South Carolina, on August 13th, 2026, and will conclude same day. **This event is only open to active duty service members or members of the reserves who can obtain active orders for the period of the event from their commands.**
