Paper challenge and long gong at the pit hosted by Precision Action Rimfire Peterborough SUNDAY September 6, 2026

This will be a paper challenge 50 and 100 yards prone and bench in the morning and a 300 yard long gong in the afternoon. Fees are $15 for paper challenge, $10 for the long gong or a discounted price of $20 for both with prizes for top 3. Space allocation priority given to shooters doing both morning and afternoon sessions. EMT payment only, price is per shooter 13 and under will be free and as normal shooters insurance is required for everyone.
Paper challenge is 20 minutes per target, 20 shots per target with unlimited sight shots. 50 yard is 1 shot per target ( 20 targets per page ) and 100 yard is 5 shots per target ( 4 targets per page ).
Round Count is 80 plus sighters
Long gong is 5 stages of bench shooting at a 8",6" and 4" target 3 minutes to complete per shooter per stage. Points are 8" 1 point, 6" 2 points and 4" 3 points, shooter has to announce they are moving to next smaller target, if a miss occurs they have to move back 1 size. Round count is a minimum of 60 including sighters.
