What to bring:
The minimum of a .22LR rifle w/scope is key. People have shot with open sights and it is allowed but this sport was designed for precision and accuracy so it is very difficult to shoot NRL22 without a scope. A bipod is very beneficial but not required. A shooting bag is very beneficial as well but the NRL22 community is very welcoming and supportive so there will be plenty of bags that can be borrowed if needed. We just want people being safe, shooting, and enjoying themselves.
This is an outdoor range and we will shoot rain or shine, so bring clothing appropriate for the weather. The shooting line is covered, so expect partial protection from the sun and rain. The match will go until about 1:00 in the afternoon, so bring plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated. Snacks are also a good idea.
We have a bathroom with running water on site.
High clearance or 4WD/AWD vehicles are recommended. Access to the range is via an unimproved road that often has deep ruts and soft sand.
