OSA Operational Pistol CHAMPIONSHIP - SATURDAY ONLY - 03 October 2026

October 3 @ 12:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Think you're a good pistol shot? Here's where to find the rest of the best!
The OSA Operational Pistol Championship is open to OSA members, OSA affiliate members and guests who have completed the pre-requisite clinic (or have competed at NSCC or are LE/CF professionals). You can download the match descriptions from www.osacanada.ca (at the bottom of the Events page).
THE MATCH AGGREGATE IS COMPRISED OF TEN MATCHES ONLY plus the traditional Last One Standing.
The ten matches included in the aggregate are as follows:
Match 01 - 10-Meter Attack
Match 02 - Strong Hand (Only) and Support Hand (Only)
Match 03 - Change Your Magazine
Match 04 - Keep Shooting
Match 05 - Transition Strong Hand to Support Hand
Match 08 - Body Armour Drills
Match 09 - Save the Hostage
Match 10 - Double Jeopardy
Match 15 - Boarding House Rule
Match 17 - Moving Target
plus the Last One Standing (which is not part of the aggregate).
Ammunition must be full-power loads and must be proven safe in your pistol; you'll need about 250 rounds for the day. (Always bring extra!) Electronic hearing protection and safety glasses are required.
The ten matches will count towards the individual championship and the team championship. Bring any number of your club members... all can shoot the matches and the top four members' scores will make up your team score. (If you want to bring two club teams, that's fine too.) Be prepared to nominate your team/s no later than Saturday morning before the first shot is fired.
We recommend you wear a long-sleeved high-collar shirt, slacks (not shorts), a ballcap or brimmed hat, and close-toed shoes. Working electronic ear defenders and safety glasses are mandatory. Also, make sure you bring adequate food and fluid for the day, as well as insect repellent and sunscreen.
Check in on the 100 range at overhead cover between 0830 and 0845. Mandatory safety briefing starts at 0845. If you are not present for the safety briefing, you will not be able to participate.
$75.00 for non-members. $25.00 off for OSA members and OSA affiliate members. If you're under 18, register as a junior. OSA Volunteers who want to claim their discount on this event, please email me.
If you haven't been to an OSA event before, email [email protected] for detailed instructions. You must have shooter's liability insurance to enter our facility; i.e., you must be a member of the CSSA, CCFR, NFA, or similar. You must be fluent in English to participate in any OSA event.
Note that we no longer allow photographs to be taken on MilCun property.
