OSA One-and-Done LR Rifle - 07 June 2026

June 7 @ 12:30 pm - 9:00 pm

This event is ideal for those who want to challenge their long-range rifle shooting skills.
The OSA One-and-Done LR Rifle is open to qualified OSA members, OSA affiliate members and guests. To participate, you'll need to be qualified and experienced in shooting the rifle you plan to bring (with proven ammo) to at least 600 meters. For example, you may have taken the MilCun Enhanced or Advanced rifle courses, or you may be an active competitor in M-Class. (If you are neither of these, you may petition for equivalency by emailing [email protected].)
A 100-meter target will be provided for zero confirmation. Then you'll move out to longer ranges. You'll shoot one shot at a designated target... if you hit, you get one point and if you miss you get 0 points. Either way, you move on to the next designated target. In some cases, you'll have a choice of targets for your one shot... the hardest of these targets will score bonus points. There'll be ten targets. The second stage will be the same ten targets, but fired in random order, chosen by a draw.
You'll need your long-range M-Class style rifle and about 50 rounds of ammo (assuming we have time to shoot the course of fire twice). You'll need your usual range/competition equipment. You'll need ear and eye protection. You'll need a long-sleeved shirt, slacks, closed-toe shoes, and a ballcap or brimmed hat. Also, make sure you bring adequate food and fluid for the day, as well as insect repellent and sunscreen.
Check in at the 1000 range at 0830. You may be required to show your club membership card.
Price is $50.00, with discounts for OSA member and OSA affiliate members. If you're under 18, register as a junior.
If you haven't been to an OSA event before, email [email protected] for detailed instructions. You must have shooter's liability insurance to enter our facility; i.e., you must be a member of the CSSA, CCFR, NFA, or similar. You must be fluent in English to participate in any OSA event.
Note that we no longer allow photographs to be taken on MilCun property.
