OCSA IDPA April 2026 Match

Welcome to the Old Colony IDPA Tier 1 Match
6 Stages in 4.5 hours!
Optional 5×5 classifier stage after the match.
ALERT: IDPA has prohibited the use of all variants of the SIG SAUER P320 (M17/M18) in all IDPA events until further notice.
Please note: We CANNOT guarantee squadding preferences. Your selected squad may change in order to balance the number of participants between squads.
PCC is allowed but is limited to 10 rounds in a mag per Old Colony Sportsmen’s Assoc. Range Rules.
Old Colony runs a cold range, if you are carrying upon arrival please tell the person at check-in and they will have an SO clear you.
Old Colony uses the 180 degree muzzle rule on all pits.
PCC will be transported between stages during the match in one of the following states: 
   
1. Cased, carried or on a cart;
2. Uncased on a cart, with a chamber safety flag or clear chamber device clearly visible at all times, muzzle pointed DOWN to the ground, lasers OFF (this is not your optic sight, optics may stay on). Cart must remain behind firing line at all times (outside the shooting bays at OCSA);
3. Uncased on a sling, with a chamber safety flag or clear chamber device clearly visible, muzzle pointed DOWN to the ground, lasers OFF (this is not your optic sight, optics may stay on).

Preregistration required.
Old Colony IDPA pits do not have bathrooms or other means of washing hands near the pits. We will ensure there is an adequate amount of hand sanitizer in each pit.
06:45am – Setup at Pits – Help appreciated (help shoots free)
07:30am – Registration/Check-in Opens
0815am – Registration/Check-in Closes
08:30am – SO Walk-through
08:45am – MANDATORY Safety Briefing at Pits
09:00am – Shooting begins
REGISTRATION AND CHECK-IN CLOSES AT 8:15am SHARP.
SHOOTERS NOT CHECKED IN BY 8:15AM WILL BE CONSIDERED A NO SHOW AND REMOVED FROM THE MATCH LIST.
Shooters MUST ATTEND the 8:45am MANDATORY Safety Briefing at the Pits to shoot the match.
Participants are required to have attended an introductory course to a practical shooting sport prior to registering for a match at OCSA. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Old Colony IDPA requires that shooters observe safety. This includes shooting only when you have both feet touching the ground.
Equipment needed:
Handgun (.38 cal/9mm or larger) or Pistol Caliber Carbine (PCC)
200 rounds of ammo minimum
Strong side holster or PCC Sling
Belt (Must pass thru minimum of all but 2 loops)
Minimum of 3 Magazines or Speed-loader holders
Magazine or Speed-loader holder
Eye & Ear Protection
Concealment Garment
