NIGHT MATCH - IDPA at ASC October 24 2026

IDPA NIGHT MATCH — EXPERIENCED SHOOTERS ONLY
This will be our inaugural IDPA Night Match!
6 stages with an estimated round count of 200.
We will have 5 short-bay stages, as well as utilizing the shoot house. Expect to be challenged with 6 difficult shooting puzzles. Come dressed appropriately for the weather.
NIGHT SHOOT — EXPERIENCED SHOOTERS ONLY
THIS IS NOT A BEGINNER MATCH.
This match is conducted in low-light/night conditions and is intended only for shooters who are already proficient and confident in safely handling their firearms in a match environment.
By registering, you acknowledge that you:
-Have substantial experience safely handling and shooting your firearm.
Are comfortable drawing, moving, shooting, reloading, and clearing malfunctions safely.
-Understand and consistently follow the four fundamental rules of firearm safety.
-Are capable of safely handling your firearm when visibility is significantly reduced.
-Understand IDPA range commands and safe-match procedures.
-Can safely manipulate your firearm without requiring coaching or hands-on assistance.
ZERO-TOLERANCE SAFETY POLICY
Any competitor who demonstrates unsafe or insufficient firearm handling will be immediately disqualified (DQ'd) from the match.
Examples include, but are not limited to:
-Unsafe muzzle direction
-Finger on the trigger when it should not be
-Failure to follow range commands
-Unsafe firearm manipulation
-Unsafe movement with a firearm
-Failure to properly clear or make safe a firearm
-Any behavior that, in the Match Director's or Range Officer's judgment, creates an unacceptable safety risk
A safety DQ will result in immediate removal from the match with NO REFUND.
If you are a new shooter, are still learning basic firearm handling, or are not completely comfortable handling your firearm safely in low-light conditions, please do not register for this match.
CALIBER / FIREARM REQUIREMENTS
Only pistol calibers will be allowed, e.g., 9mm, .22 LR, .45 ACP, .380 ACP, etc. Absolutely no rifle calibers such as .223, .308, etc.
Pistols are what most competitors will run.
Pistol-caliber carbines (PCCs) will be allowed and are encouraged.
Night vision is allowed and encouraged.
White lights are allowed as well.
If running a white light, all weapons must have a light attached to them. If running NODs, you may shoot either passive or active.
SCHEDULE
3:00–4:30 PM — Setup (Please come early and help us set up the stages.)
5:30 PM — Mandatory Safety Briefing and Roll Call
6:30 PM — Match Begins
10:00 PM — Hard Cutoff Match Must End.
There is no need to break down the stages after the match. We will shoot the same stages again during our regular IDPA day match the following morning.
You are encouraged to attend the morning match (separate registration required) so you can compare how you perform at night versus during the day.
