State Laws to be aware of:
It is the responsibility of attendees to know and comply with all State and Federal Firearms Laws.
Montana State Firearms Laws
Montana has very friendly gun laws; if in doubt follow the laws of your home state and you’ll be well within compliance.
Misc:
Most shooting will take place at 25 meters with scaled down targets, so shooters may bring .22 cal rim fire rifles and/or their choice of center fire rifles.
Loaner .22 rifles are sometime available by pre-arrangement, contact the shoot boss ahead of time if you may need help acquiring a rifle to borrow.
Range will accommodate both .22 rimfire and center fire rifles.
Also, bring plenty of warm and waterproof clothes appropriate for the weather, as there is very little shelter at the range and we will be outside all day.  Bring whatever you need to be comfortable in outdoor (field) conditions.  A folding style camp chair is quite handy.  Water, food (we have working lunches), sunscreen, etc.
For the rifle don’t forget to bring ammo, ear protection, eye protection, sling, mat or pad to lay on for prone position, several magazines, hat, staple gun, sunglasses.
For youth shooters, .22 ammo may be available for purchase at the event thanks to a grant from CCI/Blazer. Contact the shoot boss ahead of time to make arrangements for this.
