KFGC Action Pistol August 8, 2026 - GPA Match
Kayaderosseras Fish and Game Club Action Pistol program is pleased to announce a Galactic Pistol Alliance (GPA) match.
GPA match will involve six stages (typically 18-24 rounds each). This is an NRA sanctioned Special Tournament ( Rule 1.6.j ) with Tournament ID Number - 2026187489)
The match is open to the public. We welcome new shooters and non-GPA Members. GPA rules are similar but different than IDPA rules - GPA slogan is Half the Rules - Twice the Fun. GPA offers free first year annual membership. Please look over the rule book found at:www.galacticpistolalliance.com
Scores will be posted on Practiscore after match.
We will be observing the current GPA rule book for our match. However, please note that KFGC does NOT allow Appendix draw at this time.
Competitors should have completed a Practical Pistol Safety Class or have documentation of having participated in a Level II or higher GPA, SASS, IDPA, USPSA, or ICORE match. Otherwise, prior to the match the competitor will be required to pass a safety assessment to the Match Director 's satisfaction. KFGC is a cold range; all firearms must be unloaded and cased, with ammunition stored separately. Ammunition is not allowed within safe areas.
Set Up starts at 5:30 PM, the Friday before the match. Help is always appreciated!.
$20 for the match.
$15 for KFGC members.
Payment in cash on Saturday morning at check-in. Exact change appreciated.
If you register online but were noted as wait-listed, it means the match is currently full. Once full, we will attempt to accommodate wait listed shooters as others withdraw in order of registration.
Registration check-in opens at 9:00 AM. Registration is in Shotgun Scoring Shack.
Check-in closes at 9:30 AM.
CSO & SO (ONLY) WALK THROUGH 9:35 AM.
Mandatory Shooters Safety briefing at 9:50 AM.
Match starts at 10:00 AM.
If we have to make any last minute match updates it will be announced via Practiscore.
