IWLA SS 2026 Virginia State America's Rifle Challenge

The Alexandria Chapter of the Izaak Walton League is hosting the inaugural Virginia State America's Rifle Challenge, which is a level 2 match consisting of 6 stages. Due to range limitation, 4 squads of 10 are planned. Scores are calculated using Time plus penalties. Safety brief goes at 8:30am, so please show by 8am. Division ID cards will be provided once payment is made on site. $60 for non-IWLA members, and $50 for members. We will have info on how to join our club on site, but also check: www.iwla.us. Sponsors have also been invited.

• Ensure you read which Division you are shooting. This is needed during registration. If unsure, we can verify by checking your rifle. It may be a good idea to bring a backup rifle configured for a different division as well.
• Prior to registering, all competitors must register for a free ARC competitor number (likely 6 digits) through the NRA Competitive Shooting Portal at: https://competitor.nra.org/ This is NOT your NRA #. Competitors registering without an NRA ARC ID will be not be approved for the match.

Participants will need the following:
• A rifle that meets the requirements of the division they are competing in (Stock, Limited, or Open), and has been zeroed (highly suggest).
• A sling • An Empty Chamber Indicator (ECI)
• Registration $$ collected on site before match (cash only)
• Ear and Eye protection • 150 rounds of ammunition (no green tip)
• Optional – Shooting mat and cart/wagon
