Intro to USPSA – Your First Match, Guided
Thinking about shooting USPSA matches but don't know where to start?
This course is designed to take you from zero competition experience to confidently attending your first USPSA match. You'll learn the rules, scoring, equipment, range commands, and match procedures that every new competitor needs to know. Then you'll put those skills into practice through a guided mini match.
By the end of the day, you'll not only understand how to compete, but how a USPSA match actually works.
Meet Your Instructor:
Matt Young is a USPSA Limited Optics Master, National Range Officers Institute (NROI) Range Officer, ACTC Match Director and Acting Range Master, former lead firearms instructor, curriculum developer, and active competitor.
Matt has competed at local matches, state championships, and sectional matches while also designing stages, running matches, officiating competitors, and mentoring new shooters entering the sport. This course combines the perspective of a competitor, instructor, range officer, and match official to give students a complete introduction to USPSA.
