Each stage is marked with red tape in the direction of fire at a height of 4.4 meters and on both sides at a height of 3.2 meters, which indicates the maximum elevation of the weapon that the shooter can achieve while moving, reloads, and performing other procedures with the weapon. If the shooter violates the prescribed elevation rule, it will be disqualified from the competition.
This elevation rule does not apply for a revolver during reloads with an empty cylinder.
